All their lives, Dale and Ryan were told by their parents "What's not there in the light, isn't there in the dark." Dale believes it. Ryan doesn't.

Dale is a young man in charge of his younger brother, Ryan, for the night while their parents are away for the evening. Ryan has a phobic fear of the dark. A phobia so severe he needs to take medication. Dale never really understood his brother's anxiety. He figures he's old enough to not have these childish worries anymore and, as much as he loves Ryan, he just can't seem to connect with him. As a storm rages outside, and lightning pierces the sky, Dale swears to Ryan that "don't worry, the lights will stay on".

They don't.

There's a blackout and the house is pitched into living darkness. Ryan is unhinged and Dale tries his best to calm his brother. Dale is determined to wait out the night inside the house no matter how much his little bro protests. However…over the course of the night, Dale starts to see the same things - the same…creatures in the dark corners of the house. And when the only circuit breaker is located in the black confines of the flooded basement, Dale realizes that Ryan's phobia is valid and what's not there in the light is there in the dark.

The idea behind "Fear Of The Dark" is to tap into the universal fear we all have of a darkened room or a shadowy basement. The scares in "Fear" are fast and furious but also entertainingly unsettling and familiar to anyone who's ever heard a strange noise in the closet….
